Mission Statement
TO GIVE ART A PLACE TO PRACTICE
This facility, located in Union Square, Somerville was established by New Alliance East owner Nick Zampiello and New Alliance Audio owner Alvan Long, and features an art gallery surrounded by three independent music production studios and five independent visual artist and fabricator workspaces. This is the third home for New Alliance Audio (established in 1987) and New Alliance East (1997) and it marks Zampiello and Long’s enduring dedication to music and the arts in the Greater Boston area.
Somerville Open Studios 2025
This year, we are celebrating our 6th anniversary with an opening reception on May 2nd, starting at 7 PM. We will also be open all weekend, from May 3rd to 4th, from 12 PM to 6 PM for the Open Studios event. Join us to explore our resident artists' studios, view the new exhibition, and have the opportunity to meet the entire gallery team!
