You’re invited to New Alliance Gallery’s third annual Synth-tember!
Celebrating the vibrant intersection of art and science, this event series—co-curated by Jess Baggia and Allison Tanenhaus—invites attendees to engage, explore, and experience the profound impact of these two fields. All free, all September long.
Kick off Synth-tember with our opening reception, featuring an exhibition titled "Synchronicity." Live performances include Battlemode, This Bliss, and a live DJ set by LAVAGXRL.
Introducing a brand new collaboration: Bit-tember!
We have partnered with Boston Bitdown to host the inaugural Bit-tember! This event features performances by Dot Dev, Aethernaut, and Satyr’s Ghost, combining live electronic music with interactive art as musicians perform on our main gallery floor.
Community Day has something for everyone!
Our Community Day focuses on discovery and education. Get hands-on with Synth-tember at this all-ages day of activities—lectures, a synthesizer petting zoo, an exhibition of local vendors, an interactive music jam room, and two workshops (make your own theremin or hand-held synth) in partnership with the Cambridge Hackspace and Cram Audio—focused on education and experimentation.
All activities are free except for the Cram Audio workshops, which require pre-registration for materials. Register HERE.
