Magic Mirror

The "Magic Mirror" is inspired by the funhouse mirrors typically found at amusement parks. This installation is enhanced with real-time computer effects. Above each screen, a camera captures your image and sends it to a video synthesizer. You can manipulate this video synthesizer using a six-button controller provided in front of you. The available effects include traditional optical distortions reminiscent of vintage funhouse mirrors, as well as purely digital effects that creatively alter the camera feed in various ways. These effects can be combined to create unique interactive video art.
